Movies
My top 10 movie suggestions for October - a mix of spooky and not-so-spooky picks, in no particular order:
Scream (the entire franchise is worth watching, but the original is the best)
It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Fashion
I pulled together an edit of favorite fall pieces from Maison Rogue - effortless RTW staples that will make getting dressed feel easy & elevated (bonus: a lot of them are on sale)!

Food & Drink
Raoul’s is a place I hate to love, as I find the staff generally rude. But the food? Always hits. And the cozy, old-school vibe is always just right. Soho was eerily quiet on Sunday, and we waltzed right in expecting the usual mob scene and to be turned away - only to find it blissfully mellow. We snagged bar seats immediately and did what any sane person would do: order the frisée salad (always), and the burger (also an always, whenever possible). The side of au poivre sauce they serve with the burger is just *chef’s kiss*
Torrisi, on the other hand, left me a little underwhelmed. I know it’s beloved - I know many people who absolutely rave about it - but for the price and the hype, I expected more. The food was good, not great; maybe my expectations were just too high. The service also felt very rushed, which didn’t help. I won’t say I’d never go back, but it’s not somewhere I’m dying to revisit.
