Spoiler Alert: not ONE award to my favorite movie of the year.
Fashion
I found the fashion overall at the Oscars to be a bit underwhelming…but these were my favorite looks of the night:
Honorable mention to this Zoë Kravitz after party look:
Oh, and my favorite movie was Nosferatu in case you were wondering about that intro. I know critics disagree with me, but that is my truth. Justice for Little Miss Trench Coat Buttoned To The Top!
The award for best item I bought too late in the season but it’s okay because I’ll have it for years and years to come: the Nour Hammour Evita Coat that I fell in love with in Aspen and had been dreaming about ever since.

Food
Took my own advice and went to Café Zaffri last night. It was…an experience. The space? Stunning. The vibes? A perfect 10. The food? Let’s call it a strong 4 — and that’s me being generous. Coming from the team behind Raf’s (which I love), my hopes were high — but it seemed as though they left half the food in the kitchen because our plates showed up looking…minimalist. Service was glacial, the tiny, awkward tables felt like a test of balance, and the $21 bread basket? Absolutely comical. Two sad wedges of bread, a single piece of flatbread, and a couple of crackers — for the price of an entrée elsewhere. I left full of vibes and…not much else.
The aforementioned bread basket
Current Obsession
This chair, slightly reminiscent of the Salvador Dalí Leda armchair that forever has a permanent place on my apartment moodboard.
TV
We need to talk about the current state of the Real Housewives. The Housewives used to be the ultimate fun, escapist fantasy. It was camp, it was chaotic, it was aspirational in a weird way. Now? It’s just… bleak. The wealth isn’t fun or fabulous, the friendships feel manufactured, and the storylines are exhausting. It’s less about the absurd glamour and more about lawsuits, divorces, and people who clearly shouldn’t be on TV working out their traumas. Where’s the lighthearted chaos? Where’s the luxury? Where’s the ridiculous fun? Bring back the unhinged antics!
What are we watching to fill the void? Please send me your recs.
On My Radar
For all of my friends heading to Paris this week: Sushi Park Paris by Saint Laurent. The beloved LA sushi spot just opened inside of the newly renovated Saint Laurent Rive Droite boutique, and it looks impeccably chic. The store is setting itself up to be more of a cultural & creative hub rather than just a boutique - they also have a Donald Judd exhibition on view for the next few weeks.
James Beard Award-winning chef & baker Nancy Silverton of LA’s Osteria Mozza is popping up at Roscioli for two nights next week (3/9 & 3/10) if you are looking for a special meal (and biiiig splurge). If anybody wants to take me…I’m available!
Golden HOF & NY Kimchi, from the owner of the downtown favorite brunch spot Golden Diner comes a new bi-level concept space with Golden HOF (a Korean pub-inspired spot with high-end bar food & cocktails) upstairs, and NY Kimchi (a Korean steakhouse) downstairs.
While in Iceland, I met a luxury travel advisor with impeccable taste and a passport that’s seen more stamps than mine ever will. When I asked her about Estelle Manor, she gave a very polite “meh” — and immediately redirected me to Heckfield Place, which she raved about. Given that she’s been everywhere and knows all the best spots, I’m taking this rec very seriously.
One last thing…!
Tonight, I’m honored to attend the Gift of Life gala, supporting an incredible organization dedicated to saving lives through bone marrow and stem cell donation. My dear friend Michael is deeply involved — he’s even been a donor himself — and I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing their work is. If you’re able, I’d love for you to consider donating here or joining the registry here — it’s an important cause that truly makes a difference.
Until next week -
