15 things I loved in August:
Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Matte Setting Spray: I was loyal to the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray before trying this, and can confidently say I’m never going back now.
SHISEIDO cotton pads: unfortunately these are completely worth every single penny. My skin is so sensitive, these are the only cotton pads that I can use.
The most comfortable ballet flats I’ve ever put on my feet
U Beauty SUPER Tinted Hydrator
My nails:

Long walks with friends
Level 4 spray tans from Sugared & Bronzed (the elite level for pale girlies. Wish I knew about this sooner.)
This dish I’ve been putting under my candles (way cuter than a coaster)
My dream birthday cake from Hani’s:
Shopping
I’ve spent the last 13+ years working in buying & merchandising, so looking at product all day is second nature to me at this point. I’m always saving things, sending things to friends, mentally merchandising entire outfits, etc. So I figured I’d start sharing a little weekly roundup of the things that caught my eye each week:

Food & Drink
Can we make the Standard Biergarten a thing again? I met a friend there to watch the US Open this weekend, and dare I say it was a lovely spot to sit quasi-outside with a drink and and watch on the big screens.
La Tete d’Or: a great spot for a special occasion (or if you’re lucky enough to put it on the company card). Everything I had was excellent, decadent & very much worth the indulgence.
On My Radar
Ernesto’s block party on Saturday from 3-10PM
Dante is opening a new location this week in Nolita on Elizabeth Street
Bar à Part, the cafe & wine bar next to Zimmi’s, looks like it’s finally opening
Faux, a new coastal French restaurant in Tribeca from the son of Keith McNally
Snoopy in Style, a cute pop-up exhibition celebrating Snoopy through the lens of fashion & culture (on thru 9/26)
Until next week -
